Neofinetia falcata 'Taiyouden'
I got this plant last year, and earlier this spring I repotted it in a cute little pot and I was rewarded with my first spike in my care

Very nice plant. Good growing and may many more spikes appear for you in the future.
So what's your culture in a nutshell? I'm curious about how every one else grows their neos, especially in moss.

Beautiful! Well done. Do neos bloom from he same fans every year or is it one spike per fan and that's it? Just curious.

Thank you Tracy
I'm able to grow my Neos. outside all year. I have them out on my patio on a small shelf unit. They get morning sun up until about 11am then the overhang shades them. I water when the moss starts to get crispy, and fertilize lightly every few weeks, less in winter.

Thanks Ryan, I believe they can rebloom from the same fan for a few years. I'm not exactly sure how long though, but I notice old cut bloom spikes on some of my neo growths that are spiking now.

Norris, that is lovely and congrats on your spike. Love the leaves.
I have wanted to purchase a neo, and I believe you have given me the final push to do so. Thanks
That pot is perfect and I am so glad you potted your neo in the traditional manner.
Just gorgeous!!!!
