Oh I understood I feel the same way. Would much rather have the orchid especially a nice clump Neo.

I have no idea what you're all talking about.

But I might as well entice the thread back to neos specifically by posting this newest acquisition:

Umm ok... Tapatalk isn't letting upload photos... Standby.

Kinrokaku:

How's that for some red spikes?

We had a visit from Dr Glenn Lehr on Tuesday at the Denver orchid society and I got this plant from him as well as a sedirea Daruma Chabo.... Or as I like to call it now... El Chabo!

chabo is super tiny.

Want to post some pics for comparison. Lets see if tapatalk will let me!

Minmaru Shima, then chabo and on the right a standard Minmaru.

On the left is Kinrokaku, center is Senzai.

I also got one of the Senzai from Jeremiah! I got the smallest one he had, a one growth. I wanted a two growth, but there weren't any left. Here's mine-TINY

Minmaru is in bloom now! No scent yet but the flowers aren't quite mature yet.

Congrats on the blooms have you had the plant long? It is lovely; let us know if the blooms develop that lemon scent once they are mature. I am looking at a plant on Orchids limited and it seems reasonable.

I know the exact plant you refer to on orchids limited. It's the same plant as this but a different name but they are the same plants.

I've not had it long. I got this plant in spike. So far though its loving the grow area I have. This little plant has grown new roots already and my minmaru shima have new roots and leaves.
