Default Vandofinetia Kelly's Cloud Catcher

A very rewarding Neo hybrid now approaching specimen size. The parents are N. Falcata 'Icy Fingers' X (V. coerulea X V. coerulescens). Day and night fragrant of grapes, but especially at night. The delicate flowers remind me of birds in flight.

Great question! No, not really. It doesn't need a dry winter rest like Neos and seems to prefer better light. The V. coerulescens parent likes warm, but the coerulea and falcata make it very cold tolerant. My sister has great results in a sunny window in Maryland. It just stops growing when days dip into the 70's, nights in the 50's-low 60's. No harm done. It's also about 30% larger than your standard fukiran Neo.

How did I not catch that, all I saw was the cross parents in your post. Mea culpa.

It happens to me, too. So many pictures, so little time. Lakeland isn't far from where my Dad lives, up in Valrico. Lakeland has such a nice small town feel to it.
