Thanks for the compliment Kelo.
I am just learning the difference between a 'real' Neo and the one you mentioned, Neostylis which, I think mine is. It seems pretty easy to care for. I am hopeful to try the real deal at some point.
Good luck for your party!

I do the traditional samurai culture. I invert a smaller round clay pot inside a bonsai pot and arrange carefully the roots spread gently like a fan on the clay...I tie the crown with a small wire and fasten it on the bottom hole of the small pot; then cover the roots with moss...

That's really cool! Where did you learn to do that? Is there an instructables that illustrates the steps for that process?

Thanks for sharing, great pic!

go to a Korean or Japanese site that grows Neos(YouTube or some blogs)...its been done like this since centuries...they have perfected it like science...so I would rather follow the traditional ways than risk new things and kill my Neos...

I like the idea of using an inverted clay pot. I have also read that some people use an inverted plastic net pot in the same fashion. I've never tried either, I've always created a cavity and then packed it with styrofoam packing peanuts....sometimes it doesn't always turn out so pretty! Any pros or cons on using a clay pot versus a plastic net pot inverted?

Hi Becca...the clay retains moisture longer while the plastic dont...you will end up watering more for the plastic netpot
