Default Nefinetia falcata "Shutennou"

Since we had such a crazy late summer, my Neofinetias just started blooming. They are supposed to go to 'winter rest'.

I love those blooms. I have had my Shutennou for almost a year, but I'm still waiting for it to bloom.

Gorgeous! I used to have a shutennu but never got to see it bloom before losing it....
The weather's been crazy for many people a bit all over, and you certainly are not the first to find that orchids are blooming out of season!

Beautiful! Love the pink colour in this.
Yes the weather is being 'strange'..
I have a cross (Neo falcata x asc miniatum) and it's putting out a third spike for this year at the moment!

hehe, my neofinetia shutennou is doing exactly the same thing... it is now in bud and is going to flower somewhere in the next two weeks i think.

only thing is.... it is it's second blooming this year, that's the first time this has happened for me.

Actually, a Neofinetia productor did a conference at my OS and he said that fall sometimes trigger a second flowering in a year, so you can say they have two blooming seasons

PS : Love your those really are beautiful flowers!
