Becca & Jim, I water it about every 3 days. Cut back a bit on fert (20-10-20 GrowMore NON-urea at 1/2 tsp/gal), approx 2 times in 3 weeks. Repotted into the PA in April this year after Martin Motes gave a talk to our NCOS. Been following his advice "water the air roots until they're green, NOT BLOTCHY GREEN, but DARK GREEN !" on Neo and my other Vanda type Darwinara X and the more often you do this the quicker the air roots get dark green. What can I say, it's NOT scientific but I repotted in April and added the new quirk to the watering regimen and it bloomed shortly after !!! I RELATE all those together in MY MIND but, like I said, it's NOT scientifically proveable !
My Darwinara Fuchs Cream Puff X Ascocentrum miniatum has been in AliFlor since Jan 2010 with just a touch of sphag on top. It always blooms twice a year and is right now almost fully into it's 3rd this year ! Same schedule for it. I'll post a thread soon as it fills out.
