I cant wait to see my richardsianas bloom. I have 5 plants with 6 to 8 growths per plant.. Hope they make a nice little show

Also here is a very useful link to a friends website were he demonstrates how to use moss for potting Neos the Japanese way. Good use of a beer bottle

Actually, it was Rogier's photo of richardsiana that convinced me I had to have one.

Hi Jim

Rogiers a great guy. That link of his on how to use spagh on Neos is very helpful as I have seen many people try to make a mount of moss for them.. Reality is the Japanese method is the hollow cone.

Another thing that a friend in Japan ( I sent him a few richies) said is that this species has a lot of red pigmentation in the leaves, even under low light, something falcata does not.
