Default good source for neofinetia?

I think I am in love with Neo. falcata. I really want one with purple or pink!
Most of the places I normally shop are out of them. What are some good online sources of colored falcata?

Look for japaneseorchids on Ebay - they're reliable and have every possible color and variation. You can also find them at Seed Engei if you don't like Ebay.

If you don't mind bidding, try Ebay japaneseorchids items - Get great deals on items on eBay Stores! The seller is SEED ENGEI, which is a Japanese Neofinetia distrubutor. However, Satomi now lives in CA and visits lots of shows in the U.S. You can go to its site directly, but each plants are expensive.

Or you can try New World Orchid, Dr. Glen Lehr. New World Orchids

Nontheless, they are not cheap orchids. I just cannot justify the combination of the size and the price. I then ended up getting HUGE Vandas instead. Oops!

I'm very happy with the 5 little jewels bought from New World Orchids when Glen spoke at the Mass Orchid Society this past November. Given the cost of some neos (and other many orchids), they were very reasonably priced.

Fishmommy, you can also buy neos from J&L Orchids in CT at J&L Orchids ~ Home Page. They were at the NH OS show this past February and are at many of the shows in the New England area. They recently started selling neos.

I have one. It's still mostly white, but it's got some color on it. I could make a division if you like. PM me if you're interested.

You can see a photo of one of mine here on the OB.

I can repost a pic upon request if interested.

that would fine of you king. I dont think she expected to spend 300 bucks for a plant and then another 200 for a fancy pot..

You don't even have to spend $50 on a pink neo. Glen has 2 growth Benisuzume plants listed for only $25. New World Orchids Neofinetia falcataDoesn't get any cheaper than that, baby. There are certain pink varieties that can ask for $300 and up, such as Benitengu, which is a beautiful almost neon pink. Unless you're serious about starting a neo collection, I'd avoid those and any fancy pots. They grow fine in those black plastic slotted neo pots. This way, you don't have to worry about getting up on a step stool to change your giant CFL bulb, slipping and knocking over one of your raku pots and watching it fall to pieces on your floor.
