All of the old roots appear to be dead looking at the moment, but there are about 7 new healthy roots shooting out over the lava rock. Each is about 3 to 4 inches now. It appears to be very happy!

nice little neostylis.. which model is it?....me bought a neostylis "pinky" last week which is neofinetia x
rhynchostylis gigantea...'bout the same size as yours ..race ya to a bloom for ?

LOL... Mine is neostylis Lou Sneary Bluebird which is Neofinetia falcata x Rhynchostylis coelestis.

Im trying to learn how to properly signify the genus,species and names of plants(orchids)...I got a crash course in filling out exhibit tags for judging plants a few weeks ago.
(I think that why I got moved down the line to just delivery. I wanted to be helpful I just wasnt much in that dept.). The process is very particular and somewhat technical for proper identification. Orchidwiz is a must use tool for ID.

I thought I had some sense and found I had none real fast!!!

It was just important that I knew what your plant was since Ive lost track of half of mine now
