Congratulations on the ribbon and the Benisuzume. That's on of the nicest flowers I've seen on that variety.

Cheers.
Jim

Hey OB, long time no post.

Last weekend, the Orchid Society of Minnesota put on a show called the "Winter Carnival". My club, Northland Orchid Society, put on a display again this year for the second time.

'Houmeiden' in the front, 'Gekkeikan' on the left, 'Gojo Fukurin' in the back, and my brother's 'Aojiku Yoroidoushi' on the right. It was humbling to receive my first, first place.

Thanks everybody!

Tracy - Did you go to the show? I was hoping to see some of your Neos.

No, I did not make it to the show. You guys are welcome to stop by and check out my collection this Spring/ Summer if you like. Jason and Cathie came over last season for 'Neo-Durian Fest' and we may do it again this blooming season.

'Kujyakumaru' ('Peacock')

Has 'rashaba' or rasp leaf. They look wrinkled and dehydrated. Grows in a peacock-like fan. First of my neos to bloom this year, followed shortly by a few others.
