HB-101 Fertilizer
I recently acquired a bottle of this fertilizer, and I am now wondering if any of you neo-growers are using this?
For how long have you used it? In what concentration? Are you using it the whole year around?

I was contacted by the company, and sent a fairly large sample volume.
Not wanting to risk my orchids, I tried it on a few tropical houseplants (dracaenas, aglaonemas), and damn near killed them.

Whatever they recommended. I trashed it all.

Some folks on bonsai sites talk about this. I bought some. It did not kill any of my bonsai trees but it did not do anything positive to them either.

Sorry, I was under the impression that it was a fertilizer. So I was wondering what PPM you were using it at. But after looking up some info on the product, it seems to be more of a growth stimulator

No, it's not a fertilizer, it's some sort of supplement/growth booster that supposed to have miraculous results on the plants. I got a tiny sample bottle at some plant faire a few years back, used it at their dosage (a few drops her liter), didn't notice anything different in my plants, and then stopped using it.
Regular use of a good fertilizer is going to do plants a whole lot more good than using their miracle stuff.

Hi All,
I am using a seaweed extract called Kelpak, it is manufactured from Kelp. It has auxins and growth hormones. I use it every second week as a foliar spray on my Neo's and I can definately see a differance after a month and half of use. Some of my Neo's have started producing more fans!

I tend to always be skeptical of "miracle" products

Hi Anders,
I tried HB-101 a couple times last Fall. Then, just this past growing season, I used it regularly on the neos every other watering. About 10 drops per gallon. None of them had problems so far and they grew the best this season. I've tried it on my Phrags before and they did not like it so much.
