Default Neostylis Lou Sneary 'BlueBird' rebloom!!!!

SO one of my favorite orchids in my collection has blessed me with a rebloom! YEAH!!!!!!!!!

I haven't been around this board for a while as I've been busy with my other great love, photography. But this little orchid has done so well and looks so great that I wanted to shoot it up real nice like.

It's a little more purple this time around. When I got it yearlier this year it was more blue than purple, but the flowers just opened and maybe they'll fade in to blue.
Anyhow, I'm really very happy that I got it to do so well.
Four new leaves and all sorts of new flowers!
Yeah!

Thanks Rosie, it is very pretty. But that's not the only one to rebloom for me. My huge redish/purple harliquin Phal. sent up a new stalk and already has an off shoot going on with it. And the old stalks from last year are each sending out two side shoot stalks, so that one is going to be a gorgeous plant again in a month or so. It also grew two new leaves over the summer.

I think I might be doing something right with part of my collection. Now my Dendros are a whole other matter.

Chas,

You did not cut off the old stalks and they are sending out new stalks. How neat. Now I will try that. I've always cut off the old stalks.

Your photos are beautiful. I have one in bloom also, but with only two flowers, as the top of the spike broke in transit from the grower. I love this orchid, and look forward to additional growth and blooms from it. Thanks for sharing your photos. They are truly beautiful !
