Thanks for the kind words all. I've been focusing on my photographic skills over the past several months and I think I'm starting to see some nice results. That and getting a new camera body and few new lenses, it all helps.

Karen, no, I left the stalks mostly intact. I cut them back down a little and they stayed green the whole time. My mother does this with her Phals and she has such a lovely collection of beautiful, huge phals that are always reblooming for her. I thought I'd give it a try as well.

Well it rebloomed in that pot and is continueing to grow like crazy! Since I posted this thread a while back it has grown two more leaves and several new roots. It was once a fairly small plant, but now it has some size. I plan on leaving it in this pot for at least another year or so. Then we'll see what it wants.

Great growing Chas,

My Neo 'Blue Bird' has just rebloomed also and it's beautiful. That's about 3 orchids I've gotten to rebloom so far and I just started on this venture last Oct. I've got buds on at least two more so I'm liking it!!!

Great pics, I wish I had the time and patience to take mine that well. I just take a bunch and hope one or two come out OK

I grow my Neo in SH. Moved most of my 'chids to that because I tend to overwater and it solved that problem. They have all taken well to it...only lost 2 or 3. They were on their way out before the move, though.

The picture taking part is really easy actually. It does take a bit of practice, but I find it to be worth it in the end. I love shooting images of flowers. My gardens are all starting to show off their colors and I'm usually found with my camera in my right hand and some sort of gardening implement in my left. I just can't get enough of it. And the summer bloomers haven't even popped yet. I might just go mad!

If you want to see some of my other photography stuff you can have a look here: Flickr: ChasWG's Photostream

I should put that in my sig...

Chas, do you mind sharing here or PMing me with tips on how to grow this in CO? I've wanted for a while, but am really nervous about trying this one.
