So how long do Neo blooms last?

So how long do Neo blooms usually last?

Since the plants Glenn sent me were in spike I was delighted to see and smell them in person. Unfortunately they only lasted 2 maybe 3 weeks. I'm not sure if that was more because of shipping stress, I might have kept them a little too dry, or are they somewhat etherial by nature?

No, Neofinetia falcata flowers are not ethereal. There are worse orchids than that. Flowers lasting 2 or 3 weeks is pretty decent for most orchids. I would say that Neo flowers last around that time frame.

Here's an ethereal orchid that's not all that popular in the hobby...Flickingeria. They last only a day.

I guess I'm a bit spoild by the number of Dendro and Phal NOID's I've kept that aren't much to look at but last for months.
