I think you're right. I have a Shu Ten Nou that is in spike (first bloom for me) and it is mounted. I also have a plain white Neo and it is also mounted, but doing nothing, just kinda hanging out My Benisuzume and Darwinara cross are both in mounds and they seem to be loving life...I've never actually made the mounds before. Do you use the bottle for a cavity or just do the solid moss? Yours look great!!

I use an air "dome" inside the pot. Here is the link. http://www.orchidboard.com/community...epot-neos.html This and 5A spag moss allow me to create the moss mound so much easier.

nice moss mounds. I've never been able to do it right, so I keep mine potted in lava rock.
