Jim, if I were you, at this point, I would soak the entire plant, roots and all for about ten minutes in a solution of fungicide.

Alternatively, you could give it a good peroxide bath, however, I have read that peroxide can slow root growth.

My last thought is: have the grower replace the plant. I am sure it was expensive and you don't deserve a sick plant.

It's alive! It's alive! Muahahahaha!

I repotted my 'Tamakongo' in straight fir bark (medium) as Ross recomended back into the Neo pot it arrived in and the 3 surviving roots are starting to grow. It currently gets 1 tablespoon Dyna-Gro Grow and 1 tablespoon K-L-N per gallon every other day.

It looks bloody awful as it's a pretty uniform yellow green and the tips of the growths have died off, but it's alive. And in 3-4 years, you'll never know. Ha, ha!

Cheers.
Jim

Jim, that sounds like a lot of fertilizer. No plant that I know of can use a tablespoon every other other day; every other week would be more than adequate. Using pure water (rain-water) might also be beneficial.
