I wouldn't mind having a few of the plants on that stand either.

Cheers.

He's going to be at Orchidfest next month about a hour away near Philly. Hmmm lets see..., birthday weekend, he takes credit cards, lots of Neos..... Now I just have to convince Marlene that the plants I just got from Glenn with the birthday money I haven't gotten yet is just a warm up for the real event. Maybe if I get her that rattan display stand.

Cheers.

Or you can save your "allowance". We all come up with those "clever" ideas for orchids, don't we?

Hey, I want to ask you guys this question just for giggles

If there was a Neofinetia or Japanese orchids convention held in MN....

It would be at a hotel; there would be a guest speaker, probably plants for sale and maybe an auction like at the Japanese Fuukiran Society meetings...

Would any of you be crazy enough to make the trip out here to attend?

It depends on the time of year.

Marlene and I have been discussing taking time and visiting Mackinac Island, the UP in Michigan, MN, and WI. If it weren't winter and we could combine the two we'd be there.

Cheers.

That's funny! I actually do have a hobby account at my local Credit Union. $5 each pay period, plus aquarium plant sales and Cryptocoryne sales and expenses.

Cheers.

I'm going to Minneapolis this August. If there was a show around that time, I'd have to make a side trip.

I would say, "yes". I have been wanting to visit OL ever since I started growing orchids. anyway.

NOT IN THE WINTER TIME. I don't do "cold" weather.

No worries It would definitely be in the summer time. Won't be this year though. I think Jason said next year or two.
