Would love to hear from the OB in england who grows Neofinetia on her balcony. I dare not leave any tender plants outside even now as the nights are so cold.(even Geraniums and Lavender plants were killed by this years winter). My orchids are kept in our centrally heated house, but now I have a green house and am waiting for a fan heater and lights so that I can expand.
Many thanks,Clare.
Clare, OB member, Shakkai is the one who grows these, I think on a protected porch. I don't see her post much lately. From what I remember, her summers were mostly mid 70'sF days and VERY humid. Her winter nights went down to only 40'sF, I think. If you are in a part of England where the conditions are similar to this, your neo should thrive given it gets enough light.

Anders, I'm not sure if Glenn has this one. Jason (Orchids Ltd.) has several blooming size Soubiryu in stock right now. Hmm, this one must be going on to your ever growing neo wish list...

I think you just missed Orchids Ltd in EU. Jerry Fischer was just there the middle of this month but pre orders had to be placed before end of March. Next year!

Nishidemiyako has the likelihood of morphing into Manazuru. That's what the bottom heavy yellow growth looks like, I think.
