I don't think it's really blurry, just out of focus. When I try to take macro shots of really small things, my camera tends to focus on something behind it, it's really annoying! So now in macro mode I adjust the focus manually, and it works out pretty well. For blurry problems a tripod or setting the camera down on a stable surface usually fixes it.
I need more practice. 
They grew and bloomed really quickly, I doesn't seem like all that long ago that you first posted pics of the buds. Keep practicing with the macro, I'm sure you'll get nice crisp pics very soon!
Higashidemiyako is a species neo and all the species ones are approximately that size; very small and dainty. Shunkyuden has bigger flowers but it is an irregular flower shape variety with extra floral parts. If you've seen neos with MUCH bigger flowers, those are probably the hybrids crossed with some kind of vanda. The Darwinaras, Neostylis, Nakamotoara, etc are all hybrids.
