Tracey....it is absolutely stunning. I love the whites. I hope to acquire some over time but thinking of moving and would like to wait to see my arrangements. I am so fancinated by the Neo's. Thanks for sharing.

You mean it's normal for them to start spikes in the fall and then stall? That would explain a lot! I was super excited to see a spike in october on my Shutennu. It grew 1cm, then stopped, and only now seems to be growing again, very slowly.

Camille, I have not been growing these for decades so cannot call myself an expert. From what I've been told by others who've grown longer and stuff I've read, it is normal for them to do it. Also, I think some varieties just bloom earlier or later than others.

Are there enought blooming varieties so that one could have a Neo blooming every month? In other words, do they bloom at varying times of the, and not just in spring or winter? Just curious.

From what I understand, their blooming season is mainly late Spring through Summer. This is if they're grown naturally. If you want to grow under an artificial environment, I think it MIGHT be possible to manipulate the temps, light, water etc to stagger bloomings??? I've never tried it. I have heard of someone claiming that her Shuttenou blooms every 2 months under lights.
