You can come over and pot mine if you want!! I gave up trying to get a nice mound. It's lopsided with sphag ends sticking out everywhere. If orchids can have bad hair days, my Neos most certainly are!

You should try laying the strands out in a sheet about 4" wide and 8-10" long then roll it up around the peanuts and roots. You need a fair amount of moss to get good strands and you can use the shorted pieces for you other orchids

I'm almost done with this batch of sphag.
When i reorder, it'll be the really good stuff I got the first time, it had a lot of very long beautiful strands.

Thanks for posting this thread and all the help you've given along the way

Default Test with your method.

Hi,

Here is my 'Hime Sekai' mounted on sphagnum with the traditional Japanese method and that of Glenn.

You be the judge!

Seikai...what a wonderful job you did with yours!
They look fantastic!

As for mine, it has now been 12 days since I re-did mine on the Neos and the Sederias I have...and there's crazy new root growth on all of them! Laura was here yesterday and she pointed out a spike starting on one of the Seds!!!

Thanks to everybody who contributed to this thread...seeing all the new growth happening in such a short period of time has been exhilarating!
