Depends on your cultural conditions. I grow both Neofinetia falcata and Ascofinetia Cherry Blossom 'Santa Cruz Sunset' outdoor, where they're subjected to hoar frost temps once or twice a winter. Neofinetia and their hybrids are truely hardy orchids! They appreciate good light too in my experience.

welcome to the wonderful world of Neos!!
I agree New World Orchids is the place to start. The Neos are very high quality, and the most common varieties are affordable, so you won't break the bank. If you don't exactly what you want, I'm sure Glenn could help you choose something if you tell him the sort of plant you are looking for and the price range. Once you get one of these little cutsies there will be no turning back, you WILL get more!

I find Neos incredibly easy to grow and forgiving of many cultural errors. I do keep mine a bit dryer than I have heard they should, but I was getting some root rot problems with the sphagnum mounds. Now I let them dy completely between waterings and give them good light and fertilizer, and there are many new growths on them.
