Ok... there is plenty of information here in the web, regarding how to keep
Neofinetia falcata during winter, e.g.
"TEMPERATURE
This plant can tolerate a wide range of temperatures. ...
During winter months, day temperatures below 65º F are preferred. Neofinetia falcata will tolerate winter temperatures in the upper 30's!" (from
Culture of Neofinetia falcata -)
However, how do you keep your hybrids? would they tolerate the cool/cold temps recommended for Neo falcata, or would they prefer the warmer temps recommended for their other parents?
I have
Neostylis Lou Sneady and
Ascofinetia Cherry Blossom, but am a bit unsure whether they should spend winter with the neos and Dendrobium (clossed balcony, with temps going down to 50s with some night down to 40s) , or go inside with the rest of the plants (Temps between 70 - 75, nights, maybe down to 65)
Any suggestions? What is your experience with these plants?
