No problem, Ross . I always got the impression you weren't super crazy about Neofinetia. When I saw your name on this thread I was all excited because I thought you stopped by to give us some important "lighting" info on neos.
I know you and ronaldhanko are really into those minis and I adore them myself. However, seems like most of them need to be grown in a terrarium due to humidity issues. Wish I was handy enough to build one of those things since it costs a fortune to buy a fully assembled one.

Oh WOW!!! Those are such gorgeous pics!! What's the first neo? I love it's wild roots, and the pot looks like it was made for it!

Camille, that 1st one is Suikaden (Imperial Flag). I think Gwen's Suikaden looks like this too. Except her roots are EVEN longer because she's had hers longer. I've had this one since beginning of June, I think

LinhT,
First, those are fantastic plants and pots, what an investment.
Second, I thought I would finally answer this post.
1. OB got me started growing Neo's, my first one was a Onamisecai mounted from Andy's, it was a traveling companion with my quickie project plant L. reginae in October 2007
2. I love them because it is a great plant that I seem to be able to grow without killing and it has the most fragrant and beautiful flowers in a small format.
3. My favorite has to be my project plant Shutenno,I just love the pink coloration, but that may change when I get the green ones to bloom.
4. I think if I had unlimited funds the first two that I would purchase would be a Hanakanzashi and a Hanamatoi as I'm facinated with the three spur flowers, the I would buy enough of the hand painted pots to put all my Neo's into.

Wow, Red Emperor is a popular one around here! Excellent choice on the Hanamatoi If I remember correctly that's one of the top row fuukiran on the 2008 Meikan.
