Shannan, your Fugal looks different than mine. Mine has leaves that are less round and much yellower. Each new leaf is puts out is yellower than the last. It's nice, but it's losing the variegation that I liked so much. I'm trying to take a picture right now to show you.

Too much light? Maybe try lowering it just above Phal light and see what happens!
I've noticed this too with the tiger-striped varieties. . .they seem to need much less light!

I like her already!
Yeah, good luck with that. We know how you are. You're bad, bad, bad and we know you are making plans for more orchids.
Might as well go ahead and place your order with Shannan. You know you want to.

Shannan, just back to admire your Fugaku! The leaves are amazing. . .actually reminds me of that stunning variegated Sedirea that you got from Glenn.
A really neat one!

This must be the man who others recommended I contact when I'm ready ($$ $$) for my first Neo. I feel like a celebrity is making a guest appearance, here. Now I see what all the cheerleading for Glenn was about. These plants are breathtaking.
I want that Red Emporer
I agree with you both, gmdiaz and LinhT, this website is such an outstanding community. I can't believe what I was missing out on by not sticking around when I first found the site last year. Fred (aka Sina), thank you, truly!

Camille, you probably don't have to worry much about the leaf color on your Fugaku. I think there's a lot of variation from plant to plant on this one. The color on your root tips still look fine. I've given several of my neos too much light before and the root tips turned a very bright pink.
Here's a pic of my Fugaku. It's a yellow/ lime green too and was that way when I got it.
I'm not talking "ruby red roots" bright pink. I'm talkin' "you're frying my butt off, you freak" bright pink. After I backed off a little on the light, the root tips turned back to the normal red they were before. Oh, and I just realized that's my toe in the background. Great

Camille, as far as the shorter round leaves....
If I remember correctly, I think Shannan said her Fugaku is still a baby that might be why the leaves look a little different?? They are suppose to be the regular namiba shaped leaves, though.
