Neo experts, help me with possible ID - Orchid Board

I got this in a two for one deal on Ebay. The ad only said, two Neo's for the price of one and the seller had no other info.
It has a type of leaf varigation called (hukur inn) ,at least from the info I can find.
The root tips are green.
The leaves are a light green with the yellow on the outside edges.
I don't know what color the flowers are, but the color of the plant makes up for it.

I know they are very hard to identify but any info will help.

I'm no expert on neos but just wanted to congratulate you on getting a great deal on a new neo purchase!

It definitely has the fukurin (marginal) variegation instead of the shima or san-fu. Plus the green roots may help narrow down the search more. You could probably narrow it down more according to the price too. I have a fuuran book listing 315 varieties coming in the mail on Monday. I can look through that when I have it and list some possibilities for you. Unfortunately, don't think we'll ever have a sure & definite answer.

I thought you might be the first to answer,as always, I appreciate all your help.
I know that it can't be a expensive one as I only payed $17.00 for both of them, but it was a great deal as both have three growths.

They sure are beauties! You said you got them two years ago? They look very happy! What growing conditions are you providing them (humidity, temps, lighting) if you don't mind me asking? Also, is that a "traditional" ball/mound of moss or is it just potted in moss as say a phal would be potted in moss? I love these Neo's, they are the coolest 'chids! I only ask so many questions because I am having a hard time with mine...lol. Sorry!

My first impression was that this one was Fugaku. But that is a spread pattern variegation, not necessarily marginal. Whatever it is, it sure is a nice one - I love the pale yellowy greens. Very striking.

Wow! Sure does look happy! I love the overall, light-toned coloration! The pale greens and yellow are really pretty, especially with the green root tips. Bet it blooms like the "standard", gorgeous white Neos.

You must of miss read my post, I just received this one a few weeks ago in a two for the price of one sale.
It is potted in the traditional ball/mound method.
The humidity averages 40%
The temperature is on the warm side, high 80's during the day.
It gets about 4 hours of 1500 ft candles in late afternoon the rest of the time it's about 700 ft candles.
I wait for the moss ball to be almost dry before I water, then I soak it, in my dry conditions it only takes 2 days before it's time to water again.

If it's not one of the expensive ones and by the visual description, my best guess is Higashidemiyako. I think it's supposed to be one of the more affordable ones with the marginal variegation. Sorry but my book was really no help. It lists over 300 fuuran but many of them aren't even listed on the NWO website. It's filled with all kinds of weird neos I've never even seen or heard of!

Therefore, since we have a NOID neo, I think Gwen should make up a name for it so we can put it on the top row, mid section of the Gweniran Meikan.

You are correct, I think I had read a different thread title just before reading your thread and somehow thought it was part of yours....hehe....sorry about that! Thanks for the growing tips!

Thanks for your time for researching this and giving me a place to start my own research.
I looked up Higashidemiyako in my book,it's called Japanese Orchids and was puchased from Seed Engei, and my NOID has two very different traits than Higashidemiyako.
1. The leaves are a lighter green than the picture in my book.
2. My book says Higashidemiyako has mud brown roots, mine has green root tips.

I would be honored if Gwen named it, but after it flowers so that she has more info to give it a proper name.
