Ascf. Twinkle (Neof. falcata x Asctm. miniatum)
Has anyone ever seen this hybrid?
I was searching for something else and found this little colorful cutie!
My enabling urges came over me and well .. take a look at it - maybe you'll fall in with it

Save your money, Ramon - I haven't ordered an orchid since last year .. I have learned the art of self control through strict budgeting (but I am hoping to order again next year )

How do you survive without buying orchids? The longest I can hold out between purchases is max 5 weeks! (of course, I only get one (usually) at a time...) Just this morning one 'followed me home' again when I was a local garden center buying more fertilizer for my babies. Not my fault it jumped in the basket when my back was turned! Besides, orchids in the Netherlands cost as much as potato chips!

So does that make them cheap or expensive?
I bought one of these off ebay, it was supposed to be in spike, but because the spike wilted before it got here, the seller threw in a neofinetia too. It's been growing quite well, but no sign of a new spike. He had it as more yellow than orange though.

Dorothy
I bought one from Housermann's and when it bloomed it was gorgous. The color was not as deep as the picture but this is the first blooming. Even if it doesn't darken the next time, I am very happy with it.
Another one which I have, but it hasn't bloomed, is Asco. 'Lionstar'. It should be a deeper color, almost orange. I love the Neo hybrids.

Oooh, yes. . .this is a GREAT little orchid!
Here's a link to a pic
But if anyone orders it get it from Fantasy Orchids $15. . .the orange is really good. I've heard some comments about the Hausermann Tinkle blooming out a bit pale!
When I was there recently, they had quite a few and one of them was in spike! Just so you know. lol
