That makes them very cheap. The standard phal and den noids are so cheap (4 or 5€ sometimes!) that the cloggies (the dutch) buy them and then toss them after blooming and just get new ones. As for the garden centers that sell a greater variety of orchids, they used to be really really cheap, but I noticed the prices went up quite a bit in the last 2 years.
