I hope my little Black Pearl lives long enough to look like this one someday. This is another one of Jason Fischer's babies. Although Kuro Shinjyu is not known to be a morpher his has started to develop some tiger variegation on it. Could be worth quite a bit of mulah if auctioned off.

LinhT'
I think I will show my little Pearl this photo as inspiration as to what it will look like when it grows up.
Thanks, Mike

WOW-O-WOW

I just love that Black Pearl!

I am experiencing orchid envy and drooling over how beautifully these are grown. They're PERFECT.

I'm happy you guys like the photos!

Shakkai, I'll let J-man know. Actually, he may stop by here to visit us and say "you're welcome", himself.

Here's an update on my Black Pearl. I'm starting to wonder if it's really a spike. It's soooo slooooow. Maybe it's just another fan It's pushed out that bottom leaf to grow a new fan plus whatever this "growth" is, since then. Oh well. As long as it doesn't croak.

After teasing me with a bunch of new fans and roots during the Summer of '08....I FINALLY have a spike this year on Black Pearl. Kuro Shinyu usually doesn't have a high flower count so I'm pretty content with my whopping 2 buds.
