Gwen, If you go to the forum page, in the top right corner there is a button called Forum Tools - it is an option under that...

Just heard back from Glenn about the Manazuru! He's sold all the ones he had in his greenhouse but he said that these grow to about a 6 inch leaf span, similar to the Mangetsu. He'll be looking to bring back some more on his next trip to Japan in Feb.

So, if I start saving now, I should be able to afford it by then!

Thanks, Gwen! I've only seen one pic online of Manazuru so that's why I was kind of wondering about it. I may get one of these next season depending on how mine do over the winter and most importantly, what kind of price Jason can get one at. Would love to see yours when you do get it though!

Edited 9/16/08 to include Houmeiden

Adding this one here instead of creating a new thread. Easier for me to edit if needed.

I've had Houmeiden for about a month now and it's grown a new aerial root plus a new leaf is emerging. The new fan is moving right along as well. The ones with the ruby colored roots are sooo cool.

Neofinetia falcata 'Houmeiden' (Bountiful Bright Palace)
early August '08
Orchids Limited

Namiba leaf (common form)
Tsukigata tsuke (crescent)
top leaf always stays all white or partially white
ruby colored roots

I like, I like, the ruby root tip is stunning. The root tip just brightens up the whole plant.
