Hi Jim! Yes, Jason is Jason Fischer. Glenn is Dr. Glenn Lehr at New World Orchids
I have got all of my plants from New World Orchids, as Glenn comes over to at least one show here in the UK, and will bring plants with him. Can't make the minimum order for shipping from OL - it was something like $2,000....

I am being careful not to get water splashed on the leaves as I thought it could have been from that originally. Maybe it has something to do with the temps and with the fact that they lost quite a few roots?

Becca, sorry I don't know what to tell ya. My guess is if they've suffered significant root loss, then maybe that's the problem. If you got those from Glenn, I'd email him to see if he can advise you on how to save them??

I've recently become addicted to Neos and am trying to find reliable sources of good quality plants here in the US.
Seikai is an awesome plant and I love learning the history that it's been kept since the Edo period.
Thanks.
Cheers.

Hi Jim, I'm sure if you buy from Jason or Glenn, you won't regret your purchases. If there's a particular neo you're looking for, I think the best thing to do is either call or email them and ask about prices on different growths.

Wow. That is some great variegation! I have an Orihime here, but only one new growth is showing that much white. The main growth is mostly half-green, half-white at best.

I think I am going to put the Orihime at the top of my list of my next Neo to purchase! I love it!

I tell ya, I've got a real battle going on here. . .all these Neos vying for top of the list position.
I am really wanting these and I have no idea which one to pick first!
Seikai
Shunkyuden
Orihime
Hisui
Unkai
But I do have these two on the way from New World Orchids. . .might get them tomorrow!
Kinkosei (white flowers, nearly transparent spots on the leaves)
Seiryujushi (white flowers, contorted pine needle type foliage)

The Enabler works her magic again!!!
Gwen, you will LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these two! They are so different to anything else I have. At the moment - until Syunkyuden flowers, I think, these two are my absolute favourites.
As far as what to get next... Unkai, Seikai....????

Linh and Shakkai;
Thanks for the info. Got lots to look at.
I actually ran across a single specimen of a basic Neo yesterday at a local orchid greenhouse for a very good price. I snapped it up and actually carried it around the greenhouses for awhile until I remembered my wife made me promise not to come home with any more plants this month. It was sooooo hard putting it back on the bench.
Cheers.
Jim

Jim, I'd have been sneaking that baby in and hiding it behind some other plants. Then when it was noticed, saying, 'Oh, that thing? Its been there for ages!'
Be sure to let us know which one you decide on!
