Feel free to use this thread! I love the weird looking ones!! I'm trying to get another photo - in between soaking my mounted plants - of Kinkosei that will show the translucent spots... no luck yet.

Shannon, Lihn

You two are making me turn green . You both do such a great job growing them. I love my two which I have and hope to add a Benisuzmi next and possibly a varigated one next.

Shannon, how lucky you are to be able to see so many and pick from them. Where do you grow Glen's plants?

Marilyn

Marilyn,

Thanks! These pretty babies are relatively easy for me.. their requirements suit my growing conditions and habits. I have found the perfect orchid for me!

I have all of the Neos - Glenn's and my own - on my unheated, glassed in side porch. There are shelves - and now benches - all along the windows. It is south and west facing, so it gets plenty of light. Humidity is good - well over 70% all of the time. Yesterday it was above 90%. Temps are cool to intermediate, and it provides a good differential between day and night temps.

Ok Shannan & Marilyn, here they are. Some little. Some little AND weird.
1.My little booger, Beniboushi means "Red Bhuddist Priest". Sounds like the name of some metal band.
2.Houmeiden's top leaf is suppose to always have the white in it.
3.Yoroidoushi is cute and delicate.
4.A pic does not do Tsukenashi justice. You just gotta see this thing 360 all around. It ain't pretty, just wicked.

Tsukenashi on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

I have one more, Ushiwakamaru. The mountain tsuke is hard to capture well on my camera. I'll try again and post a pic later.

Wow!! Those are some great new additions! Beniboushi is so tiny! Gwen's gonna love it! Yoroidoushi reminds me of Cyosentetsu in habit. But that Tsukenashi is gorgeous - my favourite of the bunch, if I had to pick a favourite! Another for my wish list!!

Shannan, you got it, Yoroidoushi was formerly know as Cyosentetsu. I don't know why though...will have to ask Jason some other time. It's hard to see but Beniboushi has the rasp markings also.
Doesn't Gwen have about 20 of these things? Where are all the pics?!?!

Here is a pic of Hisui. The flower should get greener as it gets a little older.

Linh,
I don't think it is fair that you got to see my new Neo's before I do, I found out that you were at Jason's while I was placing my order. I purchased the Hisui-Jade and Kuro Shinjyu (Black Pearl), they are due to arrive Thursday.
I will post pictures as soon as possible after arrival.
Jason is a great person to deal with, he must be a great freind.
