Default Having trouble keeping Neos and Sedirea straight

For at least three times I have confused my Neos (I have four) and my Sederias (I have two.) Just for the record and so I don't confuse anyone more than I have already confused myself , Sedireas are the ones that look like mini Phals and have little purple stripes and Neos look like little Tolumnias (fans) and have weird blossoms

Please help me remember this when I reply to posts! I seem to get these two confused more often then not. I do have them both (at least 2 of each) but can't seem to get it right. Hope this clears up my confusing posts!?

Sedirea is Aerides backwards if that helps keeping em straight.

And clearly you don't spend enough time obsessing about Neof. like myself.

Hey Ross, what is it that is blooming behind your Neo? And what kind of wood is your Sedirea mounted on?

I'll help you, Ross
I'll lend you my mallet anytime

Sounds like you need more neos and sedireas to end the confusion

Behind the Neo (I think I have that straight now ) is Dendrobium abberans. Great choice for orchidariums.
Sedirea appears to be mounted on a slab of cedar. Got it from Andy. I still prefer the potted method, though, for this guy.

I have two words for you: name tags.

And then as fast as you can photograph the orchids along WITH their name tags. . .for later reference.

This I have learned the hard way.

Ross, This has got to be one of the funniest posts I've read in a long time! Thanks for bringing a smile to my face! I know in the end, you'll get them sorted out in your head. Until then, we'll be patient and accommodating.
