Hey Marilyn, I think that would be a good idea. I have a Lou Sneary in a hanging basket with just a few big charcoal chunks and it is doing very good. I really like hanging baskets and you can hang just about any place.

I have a neostylis in a basket in bloom it is getting a little less light then the Vandas .
The plant in the picture has been grown all diffrent ways the other half of it is also in a basket both are in Spag. the other half is just now spiking always behind this half .. Gin

Thanks for the info.

Tomorrow that big guy will go into a wood basket. I use charcoal and lava rock for my vandas, this one will get the same treatment.

Oooh, I just picked one of these up at the Redland festival. can't wait until it matures enough to bloom.
