Default Neofinetia falcata Tougen

This is my first Neo to bloom out of the four I have! They are really loving my orchidarium conditions! What cool flowers. It was hard to capture the pink in the tips of the flower, I hope it shows in the pictures! These mini's are so tiny it is hard to get good close-ups with my little point and shoot camera, so I had to borrow a better one to get these pics, if I could stop buying orchids, I could get a bigger and better camera.

Enjoy!

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW

And did I mention, WOW?

Your flowers are absolutely charming! Tiny but yes, I can see the little bits of pink! So pretty.

You've got LOTS more blooms that I've managed! Course I had a little help from the orange tabby brothers! lol

I am so ooooooo ooooo oooo impressed!

What are your orchidarium conditions?

Great job, Becca. None of mine have spiked yet, but lots of root and leaf activity.

What are your orchidarium conditions?
Hi! In my orchidarium it is around 75 degrees during the day, and mid to high 60's at night. Around 70 - 90% humidity. I am growing them on the high light shelf, they seem to like it. I am just trying to figure out how moist or dry they like to be....they tend to dry out pretty quickly once I water them, usually every 4 days or so, if I don't over water them in the moss that is.

No this is not my project plant, I bought it off of ebay back in January or February. I did purchase two for the project plant so I will have to figure out which one it will be.

Almost exactly how I am growing mine!

75-82 degrees during the day
66-70 degrees or so at night
60% humidity
Lots of air circulation
Top shelf medium to high light

MSU fertilizer (half strength)
KLN occassionally added
RO water

Oh Becca, that is beautiful. I love the pink tip on them.

I wish I had bought a couple more when we had the special price on them. I didn't know if I could grow them, but mine seems to be doing well without an orchidarium. I will need to see if I will be able to bring it into bloom again.

I put mine into a neo type pot but I also love the little black pots they come in.
