That's a fast grower! Congrats. I'm exited for you.

Currently I have multiple new growths on a plant but I can't tell yet if they represent new fans or spikes.

Patience patience patience

I certainly couldn't tell! Hopefully there'll be some spikes in there...

Popped open between yesterday evening and this morning - only one was open last night though, so only a hint of that promised scent.

They have the tiniest hint of purple on the lower petals, which I assume is from the high light I've been subjecting the plant to.

I suspect it's this plant's first blooming as I couldn't find any evidence of previous spikes on any of the growths.

In my experience (still less than a year but all my plants bloomed earlier this year) the full scent takes a few days to develop but it's fantastic

I haven't been able to enjoy the scent so far this week as I've been ill, but the buds on the other spike have started to open, and... well... they're green. How strange - the plant definitely does not look like more than one plant as I repotted it. Anyone else seen different coloured flowers on a neo?

I mean, I'm not complaining... odd is just fine by me.

The flowers may become more white as they mature. There are green Neos, but usually they're rather expensive because they are less common.

The little white bud just above the green bud has opened at the same time from the first spike - the first spike all distinctly opened white and stayed white, with a little purple/pink on the lower petal tips. This is very surprisingly green. It may definitely still mature whiter, but I've been bud watching these and the difference is quite striking.

I'm eager to see how the next spike develops as there's another small one off of one of the other growths that looks like it's starting to grow now.
