The stem is about 1.4 ft long.
If I get a seedling here, 3 years from flowering, I pay about as much as I paid for this plant.
I don't want to know what this plant sells for.

Actually, when I showed her to members of the NOV (out of bloom), I got the comment that because of her size and the costs of such a plant, it was very unlikely I got myself a tricolor.

Btw, about the smell. What do you think it smells like? I really dislike the smell from these flowers. Heavy and kind of stale.

Uh supposedly the scent is kind of like "grape candy". I'm not really sure how to describe what that scent is like, the best I can give you is kind of fruity but not like a bright or sharp fruity scent.

I wouldn't have any clue about a stale smell.

I don't recognize the grape part. I'll use my nose again when I walk by the plant.

It's looking better and better.

The scent is getting stronger and I'm starting to like it.

What a spectacular find, and a bargain! After your horrid experience that you mentioned in the Introduction forum, this maybe compensates a bit. What else wonderful does this vendor have??

The seller was a private person, no nursery/business as far as I'm aware off. She was advertising on an online buy and selling platform. I stumbled upon it and wanted it badly.

She had Paphiopedilum 'White Lady' for sale too. Bought that one also. Why not LOL. Same shipping costs heheh.

That Paph still had a flower but it was almost done. But because of that I'm 100% positive about the ID. It even is in it's original pot with the cultivar name printed on it.
