I got this guy from Peter T. Lin from Diamond Orchids.
It's a Korean sumi variety who's flowers seem to have a smidge of pink to them like it's brother (cousin?) 'Myeong-ok 명옥 (明玉)'.
From looking around, Myeong/Myung 명 means 'bright'.
'Myeong-ok' is 'bright jade' and 'Myeonggwanggae' is 'bright dog' but it refers to a Chinese type of armor. I could be complete wrong but that's what I found!
Great looking plant! Excited to see how the sumi spreads!
