A friend of mine found this on an Internet forum. It was identified as a Neofinetia. What is the cultivar? It looks like a lockhartia with Neo roots.

I agree it's a Neofinetia. I don't know the cultivar.

It's a young seedling just recently selected by a Korean nursery, Munhyangwon, for its shorter leaves and fukurin variegation. They named it Baek-Ogong 白蜈蚣.

It's a seedling mutation of Yongrin 龍鱗, which in turn is a mutation of Cheonseom (Tensen) 天蟾. It's a pure Neo.

This nursery specializes in breeding Neos (both by hybridization and by selecting for mutations) and has created many spectacular new varieties. Here's their instagram: Munhyangwon - Baekogong

Smell champagne breeding
This is the bái fái lán {..
What will happen if the jine is ascension? 🤔
Yeah the description to it was very vague, did they mean small breeding or smells of champagne?
bai fai lan I thought was what it was called but that just translates to worship shack
Then I am not sure if they are making a reference to the new film Djinn or if something should ascend in June, maybe a reference to a flower spike emerging.

Thank you Hakumin!

To Shadeflower,

My translator app says “What will it be when the centipede ascends to heaven”

Hakumin has warned me in the past that internet translating apps can yield nonsense and its results should not be taken at face value.

I think you pulled that from facebook's automatic translation of his post?

His original text was in Korean, and facebook's automatic translator is notoriously terrible. This is a particularly bad example. He really never mentions champagne, and I have no clue where they pulled that from, haha.

What he originally said was:
聞香苑育種品 韓國風蘭
龍鱗의 白覆輪 {白蜈蚣} 입니다.
지네가 승천을 하면 뭐가 될려나요?
Which means [with added context],
Munhyangwon Bred Variety, Korean Neofinetia

This is a white fukurin [mutation of] Yongrin named 'Baekogong'.

What does a centipede [as opposed to a dragon] become when it rises to the heavens?
Btw, jine 지네 (properly pronounced ji-ne in two syllables) is one Korean word for centipede. Ogong, the word used in the variety name, is another word for centipede. So that's why he's talking about centipedes. Yongrin, the parent variety name, means "Dragon Scales", and a dragon ascending to the heavens is a well known east asian motif.

Munhyangwon, the name of the nursery, literally means "Garden [where you] Enjoy/Smell Fragrances", so I guess that's where facebook forced the "smell" translation into. However, I absolutely don't see how anything he said could translate into "champagne"
