FYI on grex names
Ascofinetia = ascocentrum x neofinetia
Nakamotoara = ascocenda (ascocentrum x vanda) x neofinetia
The flower form of Grandma M's Nakamotoara resembles the neofinetia parent, but it is also influenced by Vanda tesselata (a parent in Ascda. Blue Tahourdin).

Gwen, I bought it from EOM - $15.00
cneos, Thanks for the correction. I posted the name from the catalog (and label) but when I looked it up in The Vanda book by David Grove, the cross is listed as 'Nakamotoara'. I changed my records. Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.

Isn't it fun? Both to be an enabler, and to be enabled. Enjoy
Tomorrow I plan to go back with great-grandchildren to see the butterflys at Meijer Gardens. If that huge vanda is still in bloom I will try to get better pictures, depending on the sun. My granddaughter is driving in from Lansing. She is expecting a baby in a couple of weeks. I sure hope that baby isn't impatient.
