It is hard to tell, looked to me like there was medium in the jars. If not, your watering and feeding might not be far off.

Is there medium in some of the jars???

Please answer!!

OK, resume previous regime, watering AND feeding.

My advice was for growing in medium.

Thanks for this post... So the plant & roots are growing well in the jars off the humidity that's maintained in the jar or vase? Wow what a great concept. Certainly look healthy.

As far as your original question about non blooming of a Neof hybrid, not blooming for a year doesn't necessarily mean it will never bloom with your care. However you might want to try lessening somewhat your feeding frequency and strength of dilution when feeding them (not your other non Neof vandas which are known to be heavy feeders).

Yep that’s my plan. They seem pretty happy otherwise. They take up so much less room then the vandas. I have one Canada that seems to bloom every couple of months. The vase works so well in our house.

I always thought that in order for neos to set their bloom spikes, they have to go through the cold temp/dry regiment in the previous year post the growth season? If you only had them for about a year, and bought them non-blooming to begin with. It is possible that your plant hasn't gone through the full cycle while adjusted in your care.
I found my new plants usually took at least a month or two to adjust to my growing condition before I can begin to track its growth/spike cycle. I grow mine strictly indoor under lights in the kitchen with standing fan blowing from 10ft away 24/7. (the standing fans/ceiling fans are hubby's idea of keeping house cool in the TX hot weather, my neos are happily reap the benefits of constant air circulation

At least that seems to be in my case...
we bought them in bloom. they did go through cold temps though they got normal water and food. I did not think not to feed them like my regular orchids.

Gotcha. I only occasionally feed and only in very very weak solution in a spritz bottle. I only figured out about the cold temp/dry root regiment accidentally when husband didn't realize there's still one more window left opened a few winters back. He can't figure out why the kitchen was always cold and kept cranking up the heat.

I did try the water culture method with my no-name standard neo, since my other type of orchids do well in WC. But the neo didn't do too well so I switched it back to moss. It's happier in moss.
