It's partly due to being a division of the original since seed grown Hisui can be variable in color. But also, green flower neos tend to bloom out darker if given lower light and lower temperatures while the buds are developing. So while a bad hisui seedling won't ever get flowers as dark as these, you can encourage any hisui, seed grown or not, to darken its flowers at least a smidgen.
