Aerangis fastuosa in bloom
Nice touch! My A. fastuosa decided to fully open for Easter.
This guy is very large for the size of the whole plant! The leaves are 3/4" across!

That is sooooo great! Gorgeous, huge bloom!
Does it have a fragrance at all that you can detect yet or is it going to be fragrant only at night when the moths are out?
I bought the fastuosa very recently and love it. I also brought home an articulata and a didierii (I took the tags off for watering and now I can't tell which tag goes to which, *sigh*, might need your help with that later. lol And also a biloba that I call my little Ginko.
These are just great orchids. . .and a must have for anyone crazy about mini orchids.

Since it just fully opened this morning, no scent I can detect. I am sure it is a night bloomer as far as scent is concerned.
As for didierii, is that Angraecum? I have one. If Angraecum, then I just moved mine into tank on upper shelf right under lights a month ago. Since then it has started about 4 new roots, three nubbins that I am not sure about and continued new leaves. It seem to covet the higher humidity.

Nice growing Ross!! That's one awesome flower for such a little tiny plant! Alas, I don't think I could make this one happy, and have stuck with the ones that tolerate cooler temps.

Yes, the didierii is an Angraecum. I THINK this is the one that I have that has a "root"? sticking right out in front, in a rather comical way. It could be a spike but is probably a root but I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a spike.
Will post a pic of my fastuosa in just a mo-mento for your purusal.

Bet you could. . .it's a warm grower but bet you could take it to intermediate up against grow lights in a tank of some sort.

I agree with Gwen. I would bet you could do this one. Besides, you are the one that has provoked me into all these little guys in the past, so now it's my turn!

And I agree with Ross, agreeing with me!
It's the LEAST she could do, really. . .suck it up, sister and buy one. You know you can bloom this one, if Ross can do it, surely you could too! *evil laughter*
Do it! Do it! Do it!
