Potting Medium and Pot for Angraecum Sesquipedale

In particular Angraecum Sesquipedale var angustifolium. I just bought a small-ish one in spike with two buds forming. When it's doing blooming I want to repot it in something suitable and presentable so I can grow it to a specimen plant. I grow outside on my screened in patio in zone 10a.

As a side note, I know the plant needs phalenopsis light and can be adjusted to brighter light, but how should I keep it watered? Let it dry out in between, or let it stay moist?
