Aerangis distincta
This plant torments me. It's my favourite species, and I hate that it's my favourite because it just doesn't do well. It grows maybe 1.5 months out of the year for me, and then the rest of the time it lingers. I can't figure out how to bring it out of this rut. I fear this 2 spike blooming is a swan song, but I'm going to keep hoping.

Really lovely and delicate looking. I can see why it's your favorite.

Calvin, if we could meld our distinctas and conditions together, we might have one perfect plant.
Mine grows but won't flower. What kind of light do you give it (my leaves might be too dark, don't have a good reference)? Mine is on the top shelf-10"/25 cm from the east window-lower latidude) with a couple of hours bright indirect natural light and gets LED for a few hours (6-10 depending on what time I get home and when I remember to turn the lights on).
It is planted in a tree fern pot with a bit of orchiata, all in a plastic bowl (to keep evaporation down). I think mine wants to be mounted for all it's aerial roots.
It is mostly in intermediate temps with a few days exceptions (85°F/29°C max ever; 56°F/13°C min ever).

At least you got it to bloom, it would be even worse if you had my luck with plants I don't do well with. They never bloom for me.
My gosh!! Look at those spurs!! Super elegant.
