Beautiful!
How long have the flowers been open? Make sure lights are off - I don't know about this one, but some nocturnally fragrant orchids are only fragrant while the environment is dark.
I have some orchid species that are known to be fragrant, tho I've never detected any in mine. It may just be that some missed out on the "fragrance gene" ?

hey, whiterabbit: the plant had been in bloom for 2 wks when i took the pic. all buds are now open and am guessing this is week 4--and no fragrance. the growing room's lights go off 14 hours after they turn on, the room's in complete darkness, and still there's no fragrance. i've gotten over the disappointment by focusing on her looks; only way to go, right?

Sounds like the right attitude I do have some orchids that bloomed once or twice without me ever noticing any fragrance, and then suddenly next blooming I notice they have fragrance - so, maybe in the future ... But, even if not, it is a beautiful plant!

Too bad about the scent, though it is gorgeous! Have you had other people try to sniff for a fragrance?

I know I am quite late but this one of the only Mystacidium species that aren't fragrant.
