This sounds like a candidate for escorting out the door.

It will probably not come home with me from the next OS meeting (if anyone will take a fragrance-free nodosa). It is in bloom and the blooms are pretty....

Still, the flowers are really fabulous. I know I really would like to get a few more Aerangis. Those strings of flowers are so amazingly gorgeous.

If you like the night-fragrant orchids, find a fragrant Brassavola nodosa. I have one that is just amazing (and one with absolutely no fragrance at all).
Thanks for the confirmation & info. I've grown B. nodosa before and loved the fragrance. And, I have thought about trying one of the other Brassavola species (or a hybrid).

When I decided that I wanted to get some night fragrant orchids, I was initially considering any and all genera. The Angraecoids attracted me because of their reputation for growing well in lower light conditions, and because in the past, I'd had almost no experience growing them, so they were something completely new for me.

Many of them are also very beautiful, as well as fragrant.

My Angraecum leonis is that way too! Really fragrant at dusk and then nothing.

Beautiful to look at though!
