The Aerangis is mounted (bought it that way) but I've set the mount down into a pot with some styrofoam peanuts, and then draped some spanish moss over it to help protect it from the full intensity of the lights and to help hold humidity around the roots. I'm hoping it'll be happy, but I'm relatively new to Angraecoids and I don't have much experience with mounted orchids.
