This is truly a mini-mini. If you like really minature orchids and have just a little space left in your Orchidarium, this might be for you. It requires lots of pure water and high humidity. Mine gets misting several times a day and grows at 99% humidity (thus the algae on the mount.) I fertilize by either spraying MSU mix onto mount and roots or full dunking, depending on how much time I have. I grow it at approx 700FCs light (near bottom of the tank.) This is hard to photograph because of size. This plant is only 1.5" from top of leaves to bottom of moss mass. (4cm or so) The blossoms are typical Aerangis with nectar tube, but totally miniature - maybe 1/8-3/16" across. Don't know yet if they will open any further. I wouldn't attempt to grow this one outside a terrarium/Wardian Case.
Mistking
Looking for a misting system? Look no further. Automated misting systems from MistKing are used by multitude of plant enthusiasts and are perfect for Orchids. Systems feature run dry pumps, ZipDrip valve, adjustable black nozzles, per second control! Automatically mist one growing shelf or a greenhouse full of Orchids.
I've been very tempted to try one since Oakhill now carries them but I understand they can be quite delicate -- that worries me.
I wouldn't say "delicate". Perhaps needful. They do need a steady and adequate supply of clean pure water (like RO). They also seem to want high humidity (probably related to the need for lots of water.) If you have a wardian case or terrarium, I'd say try it.
