I can't take credit for the blooms but it still is an amazing orchid. Its fragrance is strongly reminiscent of gardenias and is weak during the daytime but very strong at night. it literally perfumes half of my living room. The leaves and roots are not of the utmost quality though as it looks dehydrated and potted tightly in sphagnum moss (which really isn't a good thing). I stuck in medium grade orchiata and I'll see how it does. A must-have for any Angraecoid collection.

I really like it, shame about the dehydration. One of my angraecums turned up very dehydrated from the post and has taken a lot to resurrect. New leaves are fine but the old leaves seem to be permanently wrinkled.

I would love fastuosa in my collection and I actually can get a flask of fastuosa locally, but for $77 and no experience at deflasking I'm a little hesitant!

I was able to purchase one from eBay - $20.00 US; I am not sure if there is an Aussie seller, but it might be worth looking into.
Best of luck finding one for your collection!

It is beautiful. I really love the Angracoids. I don't have this one as I have to limit how much of my space is taken by this addictive group.
You could try, when watering it, to give the roots a good soak each time. I do this with my Angraecum leonis when I forget about it for a while and the roots turn green and, after a few sessions, the leaves lose the wrinkled look. Some of the Angs grow where they can experience a drier period and have adapted to it. I don't know about this one, though. Good luck with it!

i have one mounted on cork with some sphagnum moss. It's in spike but I think I'm a little cold for it as the spike is taking FOREVER.

I got mine from Gold Country Orchids and it wasn't expensive. Came in a small pot and I mounted it.

Congrats. It's lovely. Know what you mean about the leaves. I just mounted mine, and it's living in a tank that I just set up. I must say the it's looking better now. I run a muffin fan in there and the humidity is certainly helping. The newest leaf looks so much better than the others
